Description: The location known as Jorf in Morocco has been a hotbed of new trilobite species for the past few years. Recently, specimens have been coming from a new site known as Fezna, some 10 km from the original site, now sometimes referred to as the Red Jorf site. This one is most like the trilobite known as Septimopeltis clementina. This one may well be a new genus and/or species yet to be described. For another spectacular example with the pygidial spines prepared free of matrix please see my other offerings
