Harpid TrilobiteDescription: The location known as Jorf in Morocco has been a hotbed of new trilobite species for the past few years. Recently, specimens have been coming from a new site known as Fezna, some 10 km from the original site, now sometimes referred to as the Red Jorf site. This one is most like the trilobite from the Ordovician Moroccan deposits known as Harpides This one may well be a new genus and/or species yet to be described, as a a researcher to whom I showed the specimen is something altogether different. Whatever it is it is the FIRST and ONLY example I have seen.
