Description: While Morocco is most famous for its Devonian trilobites, its history extends back to near the beginning of trilobite evolution with examples such as this one, a member of the Order Ptychopariida called Kingaspidoides. The positive side will ship in a plastic container to protect the prominent occipital spine from damage. A rarely offered species, this one was identified for me by the premier West Coast collector of Moroccan trilobites, and would make an excellent addition to any collection of trilobites from the region. It is the first I have been able to offer.
