Mosasaurus ToothThis is a nice example of a complete tooth of a Mosasaur, a marine reptile predator that roamed that was unbiquitous on Earth during the era of the dinosaurs. It comes from the Late Cretaceous Phosphate deposits of Khourigba, Morocco. It is 1 1/2 inches in overall length, and 13/16 inches across at the base. It is found within a 3 7/8 by 3 3/8 sandstone matrix. A very nice fossil.
