Metascutellum pustulatumDescription: A member of the Order Corynexochida, Family Styginidae from the Middle Devonian deposits of Jebel Issoumour, Morocco, this is similar to Platyscutellum pustulatum. The biggest difference is the fact that it does not possess a bifurcated midrib on the pygidium. As a consequence it is either a new species of that genus or an all-new genus entirely.
