Richterops fallotiDescription: This plate displays a rarely seen example of a trilobite found in the Early Cambrian deposits of Taroudant , Morocco. This trilobite is a member of the Order Redlichiida, Family Saukiandidade Subfamily Resseropinae which is rarely seen in any state of preservation due to its thinly calcified exoskeleton. This one is almost complete; some of the exoskeleton on the right pleural lobe has exfoliated, but the general outline of the segments are still visible. What is even more unusual is the fact that there are two partials present as well, seen near the right pleural spine. With absolutely ZERO restoration, this is sure to become a cornerstone of any collection of Early Cambrian trilobites from Morocco.
