Huntoniatonia lingulcifer Oklahoma Trilobite   Huntonia lingulcifer is a Dalmanatid trilobite (Order Phacopida, Suborder Phacopina, Superfamily Dalmanitoidea, Family Dalmanitidae) from the Lower Devonian strata of Oklahoma. It is primarily distinguished from two other species of genus Huntoniatonia from Oklahoma by the markedly longer pygidial spine. It's occurence is rare and some 10% of the more common Huntoniatonia. This specimen is not only a typical superb specimen from the lab of Bob Carroll, but at 88 mm is toward the size limit of lingulcifer that have been found complete. This example has been meticulously prepared with modern equipment.
