 Description:
This diminutive member of the Odontopleuridae is known as Meadotownella
trentonensis. The genus is found in Wales, Ohio, New York, and
Canada. This species derives its name from The Trenton Group in
which specimens have been found, with perhaps the most famous coming
from the Walcott-Rust Quarry in New York. It appears to have its
affinities with another Odontopleurid from the Neuville formation
which as yet to be described; see my other postings for a specimen
of Odontopleuridae
