Esmeraldina TrilobiteDescription: Presented is a very rare Esmeraldina rowei that has been prepared with air abrasion to reveal the free standing axial spines. Only a handful of specimens have been collected and prepared in this fashion, probably fewer than fifteen, and these in only the last two years. This one is basically complete, though the pygidium is tucked under; a trait of almost all the discovered specimens.
