Eodalmanitina destombesi Portuguese Trilobites

Description: This genus is from the order Phacopida -Dalmanitoidea – Dalmanitidae. This is a classic type specimen showing the compression and distortion typical of Valongo trilobites. It has a ghostly appearance, but is otherwise in a good state of preservation. This one has the rarely preserved tail spine in place. It has one well preserved eye intact. The plate was cracked and repaired. There is another large partial specimen of Eodalmantinia resting aesthetically to the right side of the primary specimen.
