Description: Arguably the best-preserved trilobites in the world come from this famous quarry located at Mt. Orab, Ohio. This large adult specimen is no exception. It is fully prone, flawless and inflated. What makes this plate so fascinating is the Flexicalymenes position on the left side pygidium of a fairly large incomplete Isotelus maximus. I must say it is quite an impressive visual treat. For the sake of full disclosure, it appears the Flexicalymene was either re-seated, or, stabilized to hold position on the pygidium.
