Colpocoryphe rouaulti Description: This is an example of the calymenid trilobite Colpocoryphe roualti. The calymenids are a group of trapezoidally-shaped trilobites with highly furrowed bodies that arose during the Ordivician. Many have a similar body plan, indicative of its successful form. While often found enrolled, there are many prone examples as well. This one has an excellently-preserved exoskeleton, and is quite 3-D in appearance.
