Cnemidopyge tenuisDescription: Well-preserved example of a member of the Order Asaphida, Family Raphiophoridae, this one was listed as Ampyx tenuis, as the attendant label shows.. There is a feature found that calls into question the assignment as Ampyx: faint pleural pygidial ribs, particularly visible on the right side. Given Ampyx is known for smooth pleural field, therefore making assignment as a species of Cnemidopyge more likely. It come is a glass-fronted display box.
