PateraspisDescription: This is a most dramatic example of the cheirurid trilobite Pateraspis in association with a solute cystoid known as Dendrocystites. The trilobite is better known from Europe and Argentina., while two species of Dendrocystites are known from the Czech Republic.This specimen represents the first example of such a fossil association I have come across in thirteen years.
