Undescribed Otarionid Moroccan Trilobite

Description: Unusual example of a member of the Order Proetida, Family Otarionidae with many fine details present. This one is unusual in that it appears it was not quite sure what it wanted to be when it grew up. It has robust genals more like a Cornuproetus than a Cyphaspis, but carries the bulbous cranidium and bulging eyes typical of Cysphaspis. We will place it with Cyphaspis, but as it has not yet been described it may eventually be assigned to a different genus. It is the FIRST and ONLY such example I have had.
