Undescribed Trinucleid Trilobite from MoroccoDescription: This is an unusual trilobitecomes from the Jebel Saghrou region of Morocco. The stratigraphy still needs work, as some material is definitely Cambrian and some Ordovician. This is a large trilobite of the Superfamily Trinucleoidea, and as such is related to the Onnia and other Trinucleidae. As yet it has not been described and not many of these primitive trilobites have been figured. The presence of an occipital spine is noted, but the pitting of the cephalic ring, a feature developed later, is not. Whatever its strict taxonomy, it is the first of its kind I have been able to secure.
