This trilobite is a member of the Order Corynexochida, Family Thysanopeltidae
known is Scabriscutellum furciferum. It is distinguished by lack
of fringing pygidial spines from Thysanopeltis, and from Scutellum
by the thin raised ribbing of the pygidium. Note the many fine
eye facets present in the right eye. |
