Dorypyge swasii Trilobite from the Marjum FormationDescription: A spectacular example of this rarely-offered spiny trilobite, this one is stunning. Dorypyge is the patronymic genus of the Dorypygidae, a sought-after family of trilobites from the western United States. This one has been prepared with the axial spines still having a small amount of matrix as protection against damage. While this one has the tip of the left genal missing, and matrix repairs, it is a very large example with a very affordable price tag.
