Coosella TrilobitessDescription: This trilobite is a rare member of the family Crecicephalidae known as Coosella Type I. It has not as yet been scientifically described, so the species has not yet been named. It differs from another from the region, known as Coosella Type 2 by virtue of a straighter thoracic profile and wider pygidium. Both are quite rarely offered for sale. Restoration to the right pleural spines and edge of the pygidium renders this a most affordable example.
