Carboniferous True Fern Zeilleria hymenophylloidesDescription: Here is a member of the Filicopsida ( True Ferns), Family Urnatopteridaceae, known as Zeillleria hymenophylloides. Notice the superb detail to each frond. This is the first such example I have been able to secure, with several fronds well-displayed on this shale matrix.
