Description: I have just recently been able to secure a selection of Early Silurian crinoids from Quebec Province, Canada. This is an assemblage of Dimerocrinites elegans from the Sept Iles region of Quebec. Most are only known from fragmentary material, so an assemblage such as this is most unusual. There is another echinoderm present as well; buried near the top of the piece is an Edrioasteroid, an uncommon component of the fauna. See the closeup to find it. See my other listings for a fine 3-D example of another crinoid from the region. To my knowledge neither has been offered previously.
