Harpides TrilobiteDescription: In 2010 a new undescribed Harpid was seen for the first time. This one was found earlier this year, and is the first double example I have come across. I have included a photograph of it in the as found state. Once a specimen such as this has been discovered by breaking open a matrix slab, the pieces are glued together and carefully prepared to free the specimens from the entombing matrix. The brick-red/orange color is typical for material from the Fezouata Formation. See my other offerings for a single Harpides specimen.
